For the latest third-generation model, the Grand Tourneo Connect uses efficient and reliable engines borrowed from Volkswagen.

They include a 114hp 1.5-litre petrol and a 122hp 2.0-litre diesel engine, which are used in Volkswagen’s vans.

Previous second-generation models came with Ford-derived 120hp 1.5-litre diesel engines, which are just as impressive.

A 2021-onward Ford Grand Tourneo Connect Titanium comes with plenty of car-like features, including heated front seats, keyless start, and some essential safety kit.

They also get the same 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system used in the Caddy, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Second-generation models are still well equipped, with kit including dual-zone climate control, fog lights that illuminate individually when cornering, and rear parking sensors.
